Modern Living in a Historic Space
The Waldo Apartments, named after Ralph Waldo Emerson, first opened in 1893. Although we’ve updated the inside, many special historic features remain. The wrought-iron and brass elevator is the oldest operating elevator in the city of Cincinnati. The magnificent woodwork, stonework and marble remain. During our renovation in 2004 we carefully restored all the historic details and added updated the amenities.
We have beautiful 2 Bedroom, 1 Bedroom and Studio apartments. Each has been totally updated with upscale amenities. Hardwood floors, original woodwork, fireplaces, 10 foot ceilings, and tall windows with city views. Please visit Zillow, Apartments.com, or Craigs List for more info and our current availability.
Center of it all
Located at the corner of Piatt Park, just one block from City Hall and a long block from the wonderful Main Library. Good restaurants and theater/music venues abound. Statistically we are in the safest neighborhood in the city, and certainly in the most fun one.
Upscale Downtown Living
The significant character of the building has been preserved, with hardwood floors, original woodwork, some units with great fireplaces, 10 foot ceilings, and tall windows with city views. The units have central heat and air, a dishwasher, disposal and microwave
